We are a public access station, with the shared goal of truly being here to serve the residents of Pittsfield.  To give them the skills and knowledge, that will enable them to produce programming for which they care deeply about.  It really is all about reaching out and making those first connections to people.  Then from that point, everyone can move forward together to make things happen.

Public access creates many opportunities for bridges to be built, with the communities it is designated to serve. These connections, allow for doors to be open and dialogue to be given the chance to occur.

Access Pittsfield began on April 3, 2000 when PCTV expanded from 1 channel to 3 channels. However, PCTV's public access history stretches back much further. PCTV was founded in 1986 and underwent much growth leading to Access Pittsfield. We also went through many channel changes during the years.
