3.         A communication from Mayor Ruberto submitting an Order accepting a gift of funds in the amount of $500.00 from the Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation.

4.         A communication from Mayor Ruberto submitting a Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Pittsfield and Western Mass/SmartPlan.

26.      A petition from Councilor Nichols requesting that a paved sidewalk be installed from the north exit of Capeless Elementary School directly to the school bus loading area in front of the school 

27.      A petition from Councilor Nichols requesting that all “No Parking” signs be removed from both sides of Dowse Place.

28.      A petition from Councilor Nichols requesting that two “Caution Blind Person” signs be installed on Pecks Road between the intersection of Valentine Road and Hancock Road.

29.      A petition from Councilor Nichols requesting that stop signs be placed at the intersection of Mohegan Street and Linn Street.

30.      A petition from Councilor Nichols requesting that the City Council invite Dr. Lawrence K. Wang and Craig Gaetani, the inventors of the “Sandfloat,” to the March 23, 2010 City Council meeting.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS

31.      A petition from residents of Lebanon Avenue and Donovan Street for immediate action to correct the sewage odor in their area (tabled February 9, 2010).

32.      A petition from Rinaldo Del Gallo, III requesting that the City Council pass an ordinance outlawing texting or any device that requires hitting of alpha-numeric calculators while driving (tabled February 9, 2010).

33.      A petition from Rinaldo Del Gallo, III requesting that the City Council seek legislative approval under a Home Rule Petition to pass an ordinance outlawing using a cell phone while driving (tabled February 9, 2010).

NEW BUSINESS

34.      A petition from Rinaldo Del Gallo, III requesting that the Pittsfield City Council officially recognized “Parental Alienation Day” on April 25.

35.      A petition from Rinaldo Del Gallo, III requesting that the Pittsfield City Council approve an ordinance banning the smoking of marihuana or tetrahydrocannabinol substances from certain public places.
