AGENDA

1.         Open microphone

COMMUNICATIONS FROM HIS HONOR THE MAYOR

2.         A communication from Mayor Ruberto submitting an Ordinance amending the Code of the City of Pittsfield, Chapter 9, Hawkers, Peddlers, and Transient Vendors.

APPOINTMENTS

3.         Appointment of Paula King as a member of the Board of Assessors.

4.         Appointment of John Barber, Tricia Farley-Bouvier, and Floriana Fitzgerald as members of the School Building Needs Commission.

5.         Appointment of Leah Reed as a member of the Human Services Advisory Council.

COMMUNICATIONS AND REPORTS FROM CITY OFFICERS AND BOARDS

6.         A petition from Councilor Yon requesting that the City Council rules be amended to change the council meeting time and the subcommittee meeting time from 7:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

7.         A communication from the City Clerk submitting a presentation on re-precincting by David Paleologos a representative from the Massachusetts Secretary of State’s Office

REPORTS OF COMMITTEES

8.         A report from the Committee on Public Works and Utilities on a communication from Mayor Ruberto submitting an order authorizing the City of Pittsfield to accept a conveyance of land located on East Street , recommending approval as amended.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS

9.         A report from the Committee on Public Buildings and Maintenance on a communication from Mayor Ruberto submitting an Order authorizing the City of Pittsfield to accept a conveyance of land located on East Street , recommending that the communication be referred to the Committee on Public Works and Utilities

NEW BUSINESS

10.      A petition from Rinaldo Del Gallo requesting that the City Council make an inquiry and recommend to the Parks Department that the new plans for the First Street Common include a structure that can be used as a fountain in the summer and a skating rink in the winter.

11.      A petition from Jeffrey Ferrin that the City Council put a cease and desist order to stop all pay over that of Personnel Technician that is currently being paid for the position of Personnel Manager since this job does not currently exist.
