2006 July 4th Parade
Another edition of the Pittsfield 4th of July Parade live from Downtown Pittsfield.

Jody Kordana stands among the chaos that is an unpacked truck. You can see scaffolding that still needs to be built and cables that need to be run. Dave Cachat, Rob Dumais, and Shawn Serre contemplate what should be done next.
Rob Dumais on the roof of the Crowne Plaza Hotel setting up our microwave. Matt Goudey and Rob Dumais setting up the camera on top of the Crowne Plaza Hotel.
Now that the camera is set up, Matt can relax. Nothing like being on a roof 14 stories off the ground to help with a tan. Shawn gives the thumbs up on a successful setup.
Gabe Russell, Jessican Mormann, Bernie Avalle and Bob Hamel take a breather after setting things up. Jessica Mormann gets ready to run the wireless microphone during the parade. This mic allows us to get sounds from bands and floats during the parade.
Matt Goudey in the lift truck camera. Another view of Matt.
Parade hosts Larry Kratka and Sharon Harrison just prior to going live on the air. Bob Hamel gets ready to run camera 2.
Gabe Russell works the hand held camera while Bernie Avalle helps run cables. These guys switched these two jobs repeatedly throughout the parade. Jeremy Drowne from Golden Lamb Productions works the 25' jib camera for us.
Another view of Jeremy. Jody Kordana works camera 6, our host camera.
John Williams was audio engineer for this event. Matt Goudey, Norm Schaffer, and Shannon Wasnewsky (top to bottom) are all lined to work the event.
Norm Schaffer working Camera 5. PCTV intern Shannon Wasnewsky takes over at Camera 5.
