Here are some images of Starfest '00.  PCTV's production of the UCP telethon on January 16, 2000.
This production is one of the largest that PCTV is involved with each year.  It takes upwards of forty crew people to pull it off and all staff members many hours to make it the best program it can be.  

These are some images from behind the scenes of the past UCP Starfest '00.

We had to load in all of our own lighting gear and poles for this event at the Berkshire Crowne Plaza.	Volunteer Gary Crippa readies a camera for showtime.
Dave Cachat discusses with Rob Dumais his vision for the computer system.  Most times only Dave understands what is in his head.	The crew gets together one last time before the start of the live cablecast.
Dave is busy trying to get all the graphics to work properly for the production.  There was four different graphic systems in use.	Dennis Maxwell controls a studio camera during the show.
Rob Dumais is the man in charge of the audio during the cablecast.  If you heard it, Rob did it.	Bernie Avalle takes a turn manning the portable camera.  This camera provided all of the cool shots you saw during the production.
