PCTV 25th

In 1986, a small group of Pittsfield people interested in providing the city with local television programming, formed Pittsfield Community Cable Broadcasting and registered incorporation documents with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. 25 years later, the organization is known as Pittsfield Community Television, and continues its original mission of providing access to the medium of television to the residents of Pittsfield.

2011 marked our 25th anniversary. To celebrate, we aired classic programming from throughout the years, and interviewed dozens of people who were instrumental to the organization over the course of its existence.
